The HAB Group was founded in 1983, and later that year acquired 770 acres of land on Providenciales: an island at the far west of Turks & Caicos Islands.
Recognising the property development potential of Providenciales, we purchased the Turks & Caicos Water Company in 1989, which in turn allowed us to embark upon our first development, Provo Golf Club. By 1992 we had built and developed the now high-profile and hugely popular Provo Golf Club, successfully managing both golf club and water company operations in addition to commencing further developments, this time on the beachfront at Grace Bay. Further land purchases were also undertaken, including land on North Caicos and elsewhere on Providienciales: a smart move given the ensuing period of significant land value appreciation.
As a result, we have been at the forefront of the Providenciales property development boom and now have a growing reputation in Turks & Caicos Islands as outstanding property developers of luxury beachfront condominiums. These include Villa Renaissance, The Regent Grand and the forthcoming The Vellagio, with the addition of The Regent Village, the premier commercial development in Grace Bay.
Providenciales is now a world renowned high-end holiday destination and an ideal location for property investment. The HAB Group is proud to have been part of the development of the island which has seen the local economy boom and the population increase from 600 inhabitants and some iguanas, to a thriving community exceeding 25,000.
