The beautiful Turks & Caicos Islands are situated 575 miles southeast of Miami and consist of eight major islands, split between the ‘Turks Islands’, which include the capital on Grand Turk, and the ‘Caicos Islands’ of which Providenciales is the most prominent. Provo (as the locals like to call it) is home to the HAB Group and its developments, Villa Renaissance, The Regent Grand, The Regent Village, The Vellagio and Provo Golf & Country Club.
Property investment on Turks & Caicos A British dependency, Turks & Caicos enjoys the privilege of tax-neutral status. There is no personal income tax, annual property tax or capital gains tax. Residency is not required, and there is only a one-time Stamp Duty payable when purchasing a property. In recent years property investments have significantly increased in value and the property market has shown considerable growth.
As a major offshore financial centre, the Turks & Caicos Islands are an ideal location if you’re looking for a Caribbean property investment.
Relax and unwind Covering 193 square miles in the Atlantic Ocean, the islands have one of the longest coral reefs in the world, as well as 230 miles of beautiful white sandy beaches and crystal clear blue water.
This fantastic environment makes the islands ideal for fishing, snorkeling and scuba diving, and wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy spotting our manta rays, dolphins and migrating humpback whales, plus ospreys, numerous wetland birds and iguanas.
Enjoy our Caribbean sunshine On Turks & Caicos Islands you can enjoy warm and pleasant weather all year round.
The winter months are wonderfully warm with an average temperature of 75F. And whilst the average summer months are a hot 83F, the trade winds will ensure you’ll still feel comfortable.
The blue waters of the Atlantic and Caribbean Sea are similar to the air temperature averaging 76F-83F.
The wettest months are during winter, and hurricane activity is possible between June and October. But as the Islands are low-lying, the annual rainfall is lower than that of other Caribbean islands and there is, on average, a glorious 350 days of sunshine a year.
Meet the locals The 30,000 population of Turks & Caicos Islands is mostly English speaking but you will also hear French, Spanish and Creole spoken amongst the locals (Belongers, as they are known), ex-pats and residents. The US Dollar is the official currency.
